Minimum Fee

For flat rate and hourly legal services, Client fees will be held in the Law Office’s trust (IOLTA) account until earned in accordance with the retainer agreement Client and Law Office staff will sign before representation can begin. For digital products, fees are earned upon delivery of the digital product to the Client. Fees are deemed earned upon delivery and will be transferred from the trust account on the day of service or delivery. For example, a one-hour meeting billed at $297 will go into the Client's trust account on the day of booking. However, the Law Office will not receive the disbursement until the session has ended, on the day that service was rendered. For digital products, Client payments will go to the IOLTA account first and transferred from the IOLTA account, to the Law Office operating account, on the same day.  The Client is entitled to a full-refund until no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service. If the Client has signed this retainer agreement but either fails to attend the session, or cancels without rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance, the Law Office may retain a $125.00 minimum fee and shall return the remaining balance to the Client.
